Procedure for adopting a christian child by a hindu parents

 

Case : A  hindu couple  want to adopt a girl child belongs to a christian father and a hindu mother ...n they want to adopt their sisters daughter ( one among two)....there are no problem regarding the child's age n the adopters age  as the age comes under the law...and the two families are fine with the decision...and my quetion is... what the procedure they should follow to adopt that child either hindu       ( by Hindu Adoptions And Maintenance Act, 1956 ) or by christian ( Guardian and Wards Act of 1890 )

If the child is brought up as a Hindu, he/she can be taken in adoption by Hindu parents otherwise not.

Guardians and Wards Act has no application for Adoption of child.

Adoption is not recognised among christians.
