It is a two storied building in a 200 sq yd area (30ft/60 ft). We own the ground floor and My Aunt and her Husband own the First floor. We both have equal entitlement in the land as well.
Now we do not want to stay together. We want to demolish the building since it is 60 years old and divide the plot area into two halves 15/60 each and construct a new house in our bit. But my Aunt and her husband are not agreeing to it. Do I have the right in law to ask for subdivision of the land and have my half of the land independently?
