Provident Fund

Dear Sir/Mam

Can any body guide me about PF for the following situation-

We are a company and we have recently appointed arount 15 engineers all are basic salary more the 15 thousand, the all employee were not the member of pf on their last organisation. Although we are registered in pf but we want keep these staff out of pf coverage.

what is the procedur, what requisite forms to be get signed from employee and what to be done on part of employer.

 

Pls. guide in detail on urgent basis.

Firstly what does their appointment letter say? Are they being given privilege of an employee. And if you are paying P.F for the rest of the employees, then engineer's p.f should be deducted on employee terms. The other alternative is to appoint these engineers as "consultant" so that they dont fall into the bracket of employee & you can keep them out of P.F perview

Being an HR executive, I agree with Asha. Whole thing depend on appointment letter. if they have been appointed as employees, follow all PFA rules. In the begining you will have to get Nomination and registraiton form signed by all the new employees and send the same to the PFdepartment of your Area. Dept. will issue you PF numbers of the concerned employees.

3.IT SEEMS YOU HAVE OFFERED THEM SALARY  THEN YOU HAVE TO DEDUCT P.F.AS PER PROVISIONS OFPROVIDENT FUND ACT PLEASE NOTE.
