I have heard about a few new schemes/legislations in Karnataka such as Akrama Sakrama regarding regularization of unauthorized sites, etc.
I plan to buy a revenue site in a Panchayat (its village comes under the BDA jurisdiction). It is in agricultual zone, but not DC converted and also not in a BBMP area yet. My impression was Akrama Sakrama was only for regularizing unauthorized buildings, but heard there is a recent amendment to that scheme that covers revenue sites as well. My questions are; 1) What is the relevant scheme (if any) and what is the status of its implementation? 2) Does the scheme (assuming there is one) apply to revenue sites in a Panchayat not covered by BBMP?
