Relationship between Infrastructure services provider and Contract Labour Act

I just want clarity on how important is Contract Labour act in relation to IT Infrastructure Service provider company??

How relevant are the same to be followed because the understanding goes that the same is applicable to factory and other manufacturing industries??

Are IT companies to follow the same and if Yes what are the necessary forms??

Can we exempted from maintaining documents hardcopy (Register) If yes how??

Because we maintain everything electronically!!

If you are exempted from other labour laws,
then you will remain exemted from the contract labour registration but n case other laws are applicable, you need registration for thesame.
It depends upon several other facts also
