self defence

Due to long waiting period client goes for self defence. Many times case begins after 5/6 yrs, appointed advocate gets old or sick. Some advocates are only comfortable in getting next dates and give wrong information to clients. Some advocates fall prey to opponents presure. Young clients join llb courses. Can we stop this. Is self defence valid.

if you are not satisfied with your advocate, you can change him.  There will not be only one case to the advocates and only one case does not help to survive.  So if you are fed up with you lawyer, change him.

Dear Vishvesh,

Trust, confidence and ethical proprietory are of paramount importance in between the relationship of any client with his Counsel.

Coupled with this the role of communication is also of utmost importance.

As it is evident from your mail what I would suggest is that you clear the ambiguity with your counsel for peace of mind or alternatively change him/her.

Best Regards

Daksh
