Heloo Ravdeep,

As per the practive as prevalent today to my knowledge, stamp papers could be used to the extent of Rs. 10,000/- max. In case of stamp duty above Rs. 10,000/- on a single document the same needs to be paid by means of franking done through banks and companies who have been authorised to undertake franking of documents. Thanks

The requesite stamp duty which privails in u r state is applicable the maximum denomination of stamp paper(non-judicial) u can get is Rs 100/-,so u have to pay the balance amount through challan in bank which is specified by the sub-registrar.Say for example the stamp duty liable to be paid on the sale deed is Rs 1Lakh and if the document is typed on Rs100/- NJ stamp paper the balance of Rs99,900/- is to be paid by challan.
