Dear Experts ... Need Ur expert Advice .
In the month of September i was searching for a Flat on Rent .. contaced a Property Agent who showed us a Flat on third Floor which i liked it and we finalised a Deposit amount of Rs. 20,000 /- and a rent of Rs 6700/- a month, and the agent was to be given a months Rent as a Commission. That day i finalised it and gave a Deposit of Rs 20000/- and the commission to the agent. After Two days I came to know that there is a Mobile Tower on the terrace, as i was yet to shift in that flat i intimated the Agent that as there is a Mobile tower i am not intersted in tht flat, he showed us few more flats. after 5 days when i requsted the agent to intimate the owner he said that he will... and i got a flat from my new agent. and now when i requested them to give my money back they are refussing saying that it is too late and we shall cut two months rent from that deposit and return the remaining .. the agent is not traceble till date... Can i file a police case against them...pls advice..
