Builder flouting deliberately Consent Terms?

A Bombay based rogue builder A J Construction has deliberately flouted the Consent Terms by unilaterally reducing the agreed carpet area which amounts to criminal act but local police station is refusing to register an FIR and rather asking victims to settle with builder.

How FIR can be registered and whom to complaint against this criminal Nexus of police and builder. TIA

The police cannot entertain any complaint regarding the civil dispute.

If he is RERA registered you can approach RERA with a complaint against the builder and look for remedy.

Or you can approach civil court with a suit for directing the builder to allot you the correct carpet area, built up area and other issues as per the sale agreement.

Thanks for guidance but tenants are not entertained even by RERA though we have paid stamp duty for registering the agreement with the Sub Registrar Bandra.

Hope experts have solution in the matter. As per agreement builder is supposed to provide alternate permanent accomodation having 330 sqft actual carpet (Not RERA Carpet) but what is built is only 270Sqft carpet. Thanks
