Daughter's right in grand mother's property

My wife's grand mother owned a property, now  her mother is the custodian, ownership  not changed. Please clarify if  my wife  and her  three sistyers along with her one bother will get equal share of this property or my motherinlaw has to write a will to all of them. Can they deprive the daughters any their share in the property.
