Dear Sir,
I was promised possession of my duplex unit by Pratham Builders in Baroda in July 2010. It is now Feb 2011 and thankfully the unit is ready. However the builder is asking for delayed payments interest. The delay in payment is by Axis bank on grounds of construction not complete on the stage as claimed by the builder. I have paid 1,20,000 as pre emi interest and also paid 1400000 from my side. Also i am paying rent for last 7 months@7500 per month. Is the builder supposed to charge interest without considering delayed possession and my rental and interest outflow?
