Dual employement case

Hi,

I have resigned in my previus company which have policy of 60 days notice period and given them formal mail of last working days on mail and served 10 days notice period and joined current company. but previous company still not accepted the resignation and considering the last working day as 60 days from resignation date.

I am also ready to pay the amount of notice period buy out.

Does my previus company can do dual employment case and if company do what would be the repucrutions .

If your current employer does not require your release letter from your previous employer, you may join a new firm during your notice period.

This means you shouldn't start another job in your notice period unless your previous  employer agrees.

For non-serving notice period, the employer can withheld your dues. They can sue you in court in order to recover such dues and training cost, if training was provided during your course of employment.
