Error in land survey

Hi

This is with respect to agriculture land which I purchased from owner.

In Owner 7/12, there was total 57 guntha land. I purchased 22 guntha and 7/12 updated with my name against 22 guntha.

Now remaining Land (35 guntha =57-22) sold to another person. I conducted private survey based on chatursima shown by owner and developed 22 guntha my plot. Now when another person who purchased from owner 35 guntha to conducted surve and found that it is not 35 guntha but 25 guntha. When he contacted to owner, Owner said, this land was surveyed long back around 60-70 year old by  government. At that time, they might not have conducted survey properly. So second purchaser asking for remaining 10 guntha. Now owner is asking me to sacrifice for atleast 5 guntha to second purchaser and want to retain money of remaining 5 guntha. But I do not want to compromise.

So suggest me forward path.

Dear Qurist,

As the purchase has already been done you are entitled to turn down the request for giving up 5 gunthas of your land as you do not owe the previous owner anything.

You have the right to refuse this request and do not have to compromise.
