Freelancer right

Hello, learned Counsel!

My friend is a freelancer, he used to work for many platforms. In the month of January, he joined AKl Legal firm and his work was to draft a contract. After taking work from him, the firm denies paying him as well as denies delivering his certificate, stating two days before his completion of tenure, that his work was not fine and quality is too bad. In the AK1 legal Firm offer letter, it was given that, they can fire the person if they don’t give quality work to the firm. Is there any legal remedy available to him?

If the contract which he signed states that he can be fired for not giving a quality work or the expected standard then he ha to accept the decision of the firm to terminate his services.

However the standard cannot be measured by any yardstick until and unless it has been specifically prescribed in the agreement.

Therefor he can take up the case legally by first serving a legal notice challenging their allegations provided he has proofs that his work was of a standard nature and not a poor standard as alleged.

Admittedly, he is well versed in law. It is surprising that he has sought the help of  a law student. Any how, what i your suggestion in the given context?
