RANJAN SANJAY KUMAR (EXE MIS)     27 August 2014

Govt job on compassionate grounds

Sirs

My name is Ranjan

My wife was passed while delivery

My daughter is 2 yrs and 8 months now

My wife was selected for Government Staff Nurse in a Government Hospital in a village in Karnataka

Since she was 8 months pregnant by the time she had received her formal government health department appointment letter, the original appointment letter is still there with me. But the Dist superintendent asked my wife to join after 6 weeks after delivery.(original letter is still there with me)

She was passed in a private hospital while delivery.

This was happened 2 yrs 8 months ago.

Can i claim a government job under compassionate grounds ?

Kindly advice me

Thanking you

technically speaking your wife was not govt employee at the time of death.

However it was not fair for the appointing authroity to deny joning due to pregnancy because no eleborate training was involved.
