Grounds for quashing of fir

What are the grounds for quashing of FIR U/s 482 in High Court. How can we prove FIR as false FIR ? I would be obliged, If somebody provides me judgement relating to the same.

Once fir is filed io will conduct investigation and would file chargesheet in the court.if no offence is made out then io will file closure report in the court.so wait till chargesheet is filed to quash the proceedings

means till then criminal investigation will remain pending against the accused and he cannot apply for passport
