MR JOGESHWAR,

COMPENSATION FOR WHAT?

WHY FOR A HUSBAND WILL PAY MONEY TO HIS ABLE BODIED WIFE?

IF LOVE EXISTED BETWEEN THEM  - THEN THIS QUESTION CAN NOT ARISE.. A HUSBAND HAS THE RIGHT TO DONATE ANY AMOUNT TO HIS WIFE.

BUT HERE CASE IS DIFFRENT, MONEY FLOWING FROM A HUBAND TO HIS 'SO CALLED' WIFE BY ORDER OF A COURT.

HERE LOGIC BEHIND THE MAINTENANCE AND THE CONCERNED ACT IS IN QUESTION.

THINK IN A LITTLE DIFFRENT WAY,  A BROTHER (SUPPOSE THIS BROTHER AND THE SAID HUSBAND ARE SAME PERSON) IS WILLING TO PAY SOME AMONT TO HIS SISTER. CAN A COURT SAY THAT, -  AS ONCE YOU PAID THIS AMOUNT, YOU HAVE TO PAY THE SAME, REST OF YOUR LIFE?

MR JOGESHWAR,

IF IT IS COMPENSATION,

THEN IT HAS TO BE SHOWN THAT - WHAT THE HARM A HUSBAND REACHED TO HIS 'SO CALLED' WIFE?

The maintenance is a percent of your monthly income. is it Ok if one changes the job and takes up a charitable low paying job or take sanyaas (LOL) and end up paying less?why not its a man decision were he wants to work!
