My mother is a divorcee.After marriage,since my birth she has been staying in her father's house( with me).I am now 23 years old.Financially we are not strong enough to shift elsewhere. Recently however we have come to know that my grandfather has made a will where he has given everything to his only son.My mother has 2 elder sisters as well ,who are married.Now my question is whether there is any law in favour of my mother under which she can claim her rights to her father's property?Does she have any such right?I would be eagerly waiting for suggestions.
