Maintenance from fatherinlaw property

can we claim maintenance or compensation from father in law who is having self acquired property. he is having only one son who is unemployed. his father married him although he is mentally unfit for jobs, not having any property and dont have capacity to work and earn for his family. he got 4 year son and unemployed wife. how to proceed for maintenance or compensation from her father in law. he is telling that he will not give any rupee if she got divorced. he is having only one son. recently court judgements came as it is husband duty to take care of wife and children and must anomoly even if he is jobless.pls clarify me

Dear, Father in law liability arises only after the death of the son.....but so far as son is alive he is bound to maintain his wife and parents both.... Kapil chandna adv, 9899011450
