I have Hit a boy aged 7 on a road who ran between my two wheeler. he was admitted to hospital and had fracture in his leg. case was filled as i had driven fastly and not consoiusly. when i asked them they said it is just to get the insurance claim from insurance company. now i received a letter from court indicating me to come to court on february 14 2014. and atten the case they have mentioned 5 lakhs compensation to insurance company and also have added me as an opposite member. i have original license and insurance. what shouls i do now. if insurance company does not pay the amount whether i should pay it. or what shall i do, please any one reply.
