My father applied for pan card,but he received pan card with error e.i name appeared on pan card is wrong name,my father is 70 years old,again applied for pan card but after lapse of 2 months did not receive his corrected pan card,can my father file complainat under CP Act,as we all know pan card issued from Mumbai office & we are living in Punjab,where complainat case can be instituted.

First of all you should inqury of call center of pan card office in mumbai, and cheque a status of pain card on web. site of pan card, and than you will not satisfied than you file a case in consumer proction at punjab . juridication depand on what place you submit application of pan card,
When did you submit application of pan card than you found a recipt.
