My family consists of my mother,younger brother and me. Mother owns, not inherited, 20cents of land with 2000sqft house and no other properties in her name. Now, we would like to partition it so as I can build new house in my share. The problem is if we divide it into three plots of equal size, the present house will be shared by two plots. So, Can a house be shared by two plots owned by two people, ie. my mother and brother? If yes, then how can we make sure that mother's share will be divided equally after her time? plz help
