Plot controversy

dear expert please advise me about your valuable opinion regarding plot controversy.

i purchased a plot with two rooms from person X  in 2001, person X purchased plot from person Y and an affidavit was made by person Y saying that person X can sell his plot to anybody. person X got mutation done on  his name, later on i purchased the plot from X and registered sale deed was done along with mutation on my name. but the name in the pahani record was not changed as it was just a small plot, now in 2010 person Y s relative suppose to be daughters son got his name added in pahani records and he has filed a case against me saying that it illegally occupied by me. now land value has increased dramatically in that region,

please advise me how to go about this issue. simply because he added his name in pahani records he can sue on me or i can go back and show the previous records and change the name in pahani records

thru., an affidvit you cannot get the possession of the land, the wrong is adopted by X.

If lieu of your registered sale-purchase deed and all the land revenue tax receipts,  you are entitled to put up a petition before the area collector for rectification of the records, who would do the needful after due report from the area circle inspector. 

 

After the report, the area collector would pass an order directing the village talathi to make the necessary changes in the record of rights.
