Property share

I live in a joint family, and am managing the joint business along with my father since last 3 years. now due to some reasons things are not working between us and i want to start a new business of mine. the problem is that i don't have any funds to start it, as everything in the business is registered in the name of my mother and they are not willing to part with their money and property. Can u please suggest me what should i do, and if want to sue them, what are the things i need to do.?

sourav as a family member you have every right to claim your reliefs but you not mentioned in your other family members details admittedly the business runby your joint family on the name of your mother so you proceed against remaing family members for your share of property and profits but my sinciere advise is it is un safe from ousted from the joint family.

If the joint business is a partnership one then file a suit for dissolution for partnership and for accounts.
