PUT THE SHOE ON THE OTHER FOOT

The situation regarding ADARSH building is getting murkier by the day. The latest mystery is files missing from MOEF.

There is a surprisingly easy solution. Just demolish the building forthwith. Those who feel they have been wronged or they have lost money in the process should be directed to take up the matter as a civil suit against the Govt. -  e.g. May 13 The Delhi High Court Friday awarded Rs.10 lakh to Nina Pillai, widow of 'Biscuit King' Rajan Pillai, on her petition seeking compensation from the central government for his custodial death in July 1995.)Government should happily pay damages with interest when the case comes to closure stage around fifteen years from now (as per current norm and pace. Apply this to other illegal buildings also.

This will meet ends of justice and will seriously deter future wrongdoers. After all, that IS the purpose of Judicial System!
