I got a pagdi room transferred in my name. I came to know that the onus of registration of this room in my name lies with the landlord in the eyes of law and it should be done within a period of six months from the date of transfer.
The landlord is insisting me to do the registration, but I wish he does the registration as I have already paid a good sum to him to transfer the room in my name.
What happens if I do not do the registration? and is there any late fee if the registration is done after 6 months.
