Right of Daughter in Father's Property

Doctor vikas if you are talking of a hindu family then the act name is The Hindu Succession Act which is a central act applicable to whole India. It provides the similar rights to the daughters as the son has in the property of his father. e.g a father dies without any will living behind only one son and one daughter than according to section 8 red with class one heirs list both will share equally. But remember this will apply where there is no will.the fact that daughter is married will not effect the sharing that still he can claim share equally in above example.

ya every daughter has a right to get share from the property of her parents, whether she is married or not that is not important. she has a right to get share equally her brothers & other members of family.
