Witness goimg hostile

can a witness to an agreement testify in court after the agreement have been executed that the agreements terms were different then the terms accepted in registered  agreement ?

case study

a nd b got into an agreement

b had to sell the land to a for 100 rs.

c and d were witness to agreement.

the duration of payment was 18 months.

after 12 months and payments of 80 rs to b ,

a gave notice to b for performance of agreement.

b replied that he have sold the land to x and in his reply mentioned that the agreement signed by him was different then the actually agreed terms anmd hence is nul and void.in his reply he also mentioned that witness c will testify in court that the agreement was signed and registered other then the actual terms.

it is clear that b have violated the agreement and c as witness have colluded with b in doing so.

my question is , can a witness to an agreement later on testify to make the agreement nul and void ?
