I am a 26 year old married woman. I went to a detective to help my dad for money recovery from his friend who has cheated. I am currently in bangalore as my parents are in Tamilnadu, i looked for a detective from chennai. This guy took 20000rs from us without doing anywork saying this is fee. Its almost 1 year now. There was absolutely no update from him. I called him almost everyweek from here. He would just say some excuses. I got to know from his own employees that he didn't do any work on this. Just for name sake he gave a doc saying this is report and he is not able to find that person. I got very upset. When i called him back to ask for my money as i was very sure that he didn't do a bit of it, he scolded me with such a harassing words in Tamil and blackmailed me that he will spoil my future. I have a recorded proof of the telephonic conversation and all the mail conversations. Can I do anything about this for he not only cheated me with money but also very bad words.
