Hello, 

Court can allow the child witness. But child witness is not reliable witness for court.

Yes even 6 or 7 years child can be witness ,before that  they testify he is able or not and his evidence is admitted.

A Chaild witness is competent witness as per sec 118 of Evidence Act ,Court should take into consideration fact that chaild witness could be influenced by interested parties
