I am a canadian citizen, doing business registered  from Canada.

i want to recover my money from a company operating from india.

in this specific case what can be done?

as far as i have read the indian laws i got to understand that an advocate can not take power of attorney to file money suit in india.

if i am wrong please correct me with the applicable law

You can appoint A SOLICITOR in India who by utilizing his legal authority can sue the debtor on your behalf.

You can engage a lawyer through your power agent to conduct your case but remember that for deposing evidence you may have to present in person because it was you who was involved in the transaction and not your power agent.
