Can we file caveat in DRT?

Dear Fiends, Please let me clarify whether we can file Caveat Petition before the DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal)?  Whether CPC rules applicable to DRT? Any HC or SC citations available for this query?

Advance thanks for our members, for clarifying the matter.

Definitely. CPC is applicable before Debt Recovery Tribunal and as such Caveat can be filed against the impugned judgment anticipated to be filed an appeal against the same.

Thank you Sir,

But here, in our area at Tamilnadu, the DRT is not entertaining any Caveat Petitions.  So, I would be very thankful to you, any High Court or SC orders in this regard is available pl quote the citation, enabling me to get it on line.
