Can a person who is under-trail for a Criminal Offence enter in to legally binding commercial contract? A Party entering in to contract is aware about the other Party being behind the bars. It is not for the sale or purchase of property but for other commercial transaction. Is there any legal provision restricting such right to enter into Contract by Person who is undergoing trail? Indian Contract Act is silent on this part.
