Check lost

first of all inform your bank authorities regarding this and to stop all transactions from your bank account ,after that go to the local police station and lodge fir regarding the lost of your check book,after lodging thE fir ,GIVE COPY OF fir to the bank manager of your bank and after that you can use your account normally,but get it done as soon as possible as sec 138 of NIA makes a person liable to pay for his issued check so some one can use your checks in such direction so better you take precaution as soon as possible.
