How much time?

Once your wife files 498a, just go underground, do not get arrested at any cost, make your lawyer apply for bail for all those people who have been named in the FIR, surrender to court after bail is denied. 

Were you admitted on bail????

If yes, you would get the summons and then attend the court.

In most of the 498a/406, it is being adviced to get underground.

Its not easy to run and keep hiding for a longer duration.

In a plain 498a/406 with no MLC or life threat due to long husband/wife separation duration, is it not a good idea to surrender and spend 1-2 days in jail to get regular bail easily?

Is not easier to get regular bail if husband is not worried to spend FEW (1-2-3) days in jail but its always a risk to surrender as now you will be on mercy of  judge and till that time you may have spend time in jail.

Please suggest the ease of regular bail in case husband surrenders.

What about other family members who are involved in false 498a case? Will they also go to jail for 1-2-3 days?

shonee ji , i was arrsted and got bail also, my wife named me only in FIR not any other person of my  femily.

1. how much time summon can take?

2. my wife will also get summon ?

she will have to go only when her turn comes as a witness.  You go on all hearings.
