Difference between the authorship and ownership in copyright Law

                               That is  interesting query.  See, Sharukh Khan, may produced a film, but the ideas of the film may originate from some other person or persons, so now the question is who is the owner and who is the author.

                                Any author may create a work on his own behalf or at the instance of some person for any valuable consideration or in the course of employment by another person, In the first case the author is the owner of the copyright in the work. Autors who compose or write books comes under this category. In the second case, in the absence of any agreement to the ontrary, the person at whose instance the work is made is the owner of the copyright work. In the third case, the ownership depend upon the nature of the employment.
