Hello, thank you for your query.

If the electricity bill is not paid within the stipulated date as mentioned in the bill, first they will charge a penalty on the next bill, and if you fail to pay the bill for the period of three months continuously, the electricity board will warn you verbally and give a chance to pay the entire outstanding amount immediately and if you fail to pay the bill, your service connection will be disconnected at the overhead pole. For reconnection, you have to pay the outstanding dues with penalties and reconnection charges extra.

It is suggested that you shall pay your bills regularly to avoid penal charges.

In rural area .. If MSEB employer cuts person cuts the electric wire of my meter and after I few hours I realize that the meter wire is cut off by MSEB authority .... nd then I joint the wire ... In this situation could MSEB authority can take action against me By IPC
pls suggest me My humble request ...... Bcoz I stay in rural area I hve not paid the bill from past 6 months they hve given morgage to me bcoz of covid 19....
