Fake SC/ST Atrocity Case And Government Job

Hello, I have selected as Group A gazetted officer through UPSC. (Only results are declaired on July 2014) Did not got my appointment letter yet. I have no criminal records against my name ever. But today, some people's from my village filled fake sc st atrocity case against my friends and also included my name in FIR to took revenge and humilate us..the allegations are totally fake. We can prove it. I did nothing wrong thing. Even when I don't know them. But We all are worried about this case. Will police arrest me ? Will government allow me to join until I prove myself as not guilty ? Will I lost my job ? I am too afraid.. Please advise me.

As you have no criminal recors,it will not affect you,But,when the appoinment order is issued police verification has to be done,Mere filing of FIR will not be a bar unless punished.

Well said by expert Mr. Isaac Gabriel. Until there is any criminal records against you, the police may not give any adverse remarks against you in their verification report.
