Friend not returning money

Hi All,

Myself and my colleague worked for the same coompany for 5 years.We became good friends.

He already had loans and since he couldnot avail loans wanted me to take a loan and pay him, I agreed as he was badly in need of money and askeed him to pay the EMIs.He agreed but didnot pay the loan for 3 yrs.

In the meantime i left the job and struggled to pay the loan. Apart from the loan and whenever he required I paid him total 2.5 lakhs 10 years ago of which he paid me only 50K.

For the last 5 yrs I have been asking him.He changed his address and also phone no.
I have no way to recollect my amount.
Please do let know how to get my money back as I need it v badly.
I trusted him and he betrayed me.

Dear Nizam,

It appears that you have lent money to ur friend without any proof or acknowledgement.

So, u have no remedy. Dedicate ur money for friendhsip. Forget about it.

Dear Nizam Sahab No ramedy is avaliable for you if you have no documentory evidence in this regard,if you give money in cash. if you give the money via cheque , you can claim through civil court.

Dear Mr.Sridhar and Mr.Nadeem,

Thank you for the response.

Even though i needed money I gave him money out of friendship and asked him to return in installments atleast. I was trying to help a friend in need but he cheated me. i paid him in cash.

There was a breach of trust.

Only God can help me in recovering my money as that fellow changed his address(city), company,cell no.

Im unable to trace him.
