Gratuity Act

Hi,

As per my understanding, we can calculate Graduity based on Last drawn salary x 15/26 x No. of years of service formula.

Now I want to know the components of Last drawn salary. Is it Basic + DA OR other?. Can we add some more compnent to calculate graduity?

Last drawn Salary is Basic + DA. No other componenent can be added for calculation of gratuity.

We may also add any production incentive payable by the employer to the employee.

The Gratuity will be caleculated on the last (Full Salary) i.e Basic + DA x 15/26 x No.of years of service
