You can gain GST registration online by following few simple steps on the GST portal. The online application go with below mentioned documents:

  • PAN Card of the Applicant
  • Passport size photo of applicant
  • Business Address Proof
  • Bank account Details

You can go through the website www.gst.gov.in and click on register now where you have to fill the essential basic information along with number and email id. Once you click on proceed, an OTP will be generated on your contact number and email ID.

At the time of generating TRN (Temporary Reference Number), you will get two different OTP. Once TRN will be generated, you can login into your account by an OTP which will be same on your contact number and email ID. The TRN is valid only for 15 days from the date of registration.

But it is recommended that you take the help of professionals for GST registration as it is likely to get rejected (you can still reapply for the GST registration if it is rejected only by trying a different combination of phone number and email id) or enquired about if the details and the documents are not as per the prerequisite.

Goods and Service TAX (GST) registration is compulsory for those businesses whose aggregate turnover exceed Rs. 20 Lakhs. Where this threshold for north eastern States was prescribed to Rs 10 Lakh, GST council has recently increased the limit to Rs 20 Lakh in 28th Council meeting.

One may obtain GST registration online by following few simple steps on GST portal. The online application is accompanied with below mentioned documents:

  • PAN Card of the Applicant
  • Certificate of incorporation in case of PVT LTD / LLP
  • Partnership Deed or registration certificate in case of Firm
  • Passport size photo of applicant
  • Authority letter for entities other than proprietorship firm
  • Business Address Proof
  • Bank account Details

You can go through the website www.gst.gov.in and click on register now where you have to fill the required basic information along with number and mail id. Once you click on proceed, OTP will be generated on your contact number and mail ID.

At the time of generating TRN (Temporary Reference Number), you will get two OTP (One Time Password) which are different. Once TRN will be generated, you can login into your account by generating OTP which will be same on your contact number and email ID.

TRN is valid for 15 days from the date of generation. You need to fill the data along with required documents to submit your application.

It is recommended to take the help of professionals for GST registration because there are chances of query or rejection of your GST application if the details and documents are not as per the requirement.

You can re-apply for GST, if the application is rejected. Only different combination of contact number and email id will be required.
