According to M.V.Act and Rules 2 wheelers falls under LMV catagory and miostly they are used for personal purpose including lively hood purpose.Swiggy and Zomato companies engage food delivery boys to deliver food items to the customers who book thefood items from thier App. The delivey persons are paid delivery charges for delivering the items to the customers. That act does not fall under commercial catagory as such the Two wheelers they drive does not require Transport registration Number.

There is one company  RAPIDO who will enter into agreement with you through their App (if you have two wheeler)and pay you some commission/amount for successful  ride. In such a case you cannot use your vehicle for hire purpose which falls under commercial activity. The bike owners  has to change their registration number to transport catagory from personal use. Even they have to change their insurance policy also. But none of them are following and the RTA and Police Dept are keeping mum inspite of knowledge. Entering into agreement with Rapido to use your vehicle for hire purpose not only violates the law but it also violates the conditions of policy. If any claim arises the insurance company refuses to pay claim if it is proved in the inquiry about the violation of use of the vehicle. But there are some companies like BOUNCE, where it has its own vehicles regd under transport catagory. You can use them without any difficult.
