I am planning to buy a property in Bangalore, BSK 3rd stage. Finalised one property for which I got the legal clearance. Legal has pointed me out that, Khatha Number for the property is showing as survey number for the same property. e.g In few of BBMP documents and sale deed, it has been mentioned as Khatha number as survey number. Survey number has 21/2 and same has mentioned as Khatha Number in EC. Khatha extract does not have khatha number. I am asking the owner as well as Broker but they are bit reluctant in providing details about the same. They say, even they dont know. I just would like to know from you all, whether khatha number can be survey number?
Khatha extract has muncipal number as "6"? does this a khatha number?
