Labour welfare fund

We are MNC and would like to be guided in below matter.

we have our branches in multiple States of our country, since its Dec. we are suppose to deduct LWF from the current month's salary. can wee deduct the LWF from salary of all of our team located even in other states? or we can deduct LWF of Gujarat Based employees only?

What is the wage limit up to which we can apply LWF deduction? should v deduct only from labours or from all level employees?

Will the deduction be done based on LWF norms of Gujarat or statewise alterations required before actual deductions? is there any limit of wages or designation to specific the amount of deduction?

States fix quantum of contributions from the employees and employers, from time to time.

Therefore data from all states would be required.

Therefore timely updates from all states would be required.

The employer has to contribute twice the employee contribution.

Usually returns are files in July, Dec.

Unpaid wages, Bonus, penalties should be transferred to this fund.

The provisions exclude Managers, Apprentices recruited under Apprenticeship Act.

It shall be appropriate to engage seasoned and experienced labor law consultants dealing in such matters, on panel.

This shall prevent getting stumped.

 You may go thru;

Inputs from learned experts/members is sought.
