Maintainability of divorce proceedings

Wife filed a suit for Divorce cum Nullity of Marriage Under Section 18 of the Special Marriage Act, 1954 and my question "Is the suit is maintainable for the said proceeding"

You are mentioning wrong provision for divorce, in the Special Marriage act,1954 the divorce petition is presented under section 27 and for annulment section 24 and/or 25.

Check the petition and then ask any question about its maintainability.
