step mother can entitl for maintenance from her step son

Yes she can claim maintenance u/s125 CrPC from her son who may be half blood if she has no source for her maintenance.

is there any specific provision in law or any case law ?

Step mother can claim maintenance if she is childlese, as stated by Supreme Court in above mentioned case while defining mother.
