One woman who belongs to OBC caste .she studied up to 10th class. She married an ST man in registration office. After marriage she wanted to convert to her husbands caste.
Q) Can women get ST caste certificate and pursue higher eduction. Is there any legal problem in future.

yes he get sc caste certificate bec in india law belong to husband name if he marriage to st man he also change her caste in sc and no problem in legal

I differ to the opinion of Mr. Mukesh Sharma. Just because of the marriage to a person belonging to ST community his spouse will not become eligible for the privileges and concessions meant for the people of that community. The law is not favoring this opinion as expressed by Mr. Mukesh Sharma. She cannot claim any such concessions meant for the scheduled tribe community just because she married a person belonging to that community.

1) Concur with the expert opinion of learned counsel Kalaiselvan differ with the rest.
2) The fathers caste descends to the posterity not to wife by virtue of having married SC/ST, but not vice versa.
