Maternity and breastfeeding for working mother

I work in a nationlised bank and joining office after maternity leave. As we don't have creche facility in our branches and if I wish to continue breastfeed my 6months old baby, am I entitled any nursing breaks in my establishment. If so, how many breaks and of what duration?

There are no guidelines / rules in this regard, so far.

In any case, you have to check up with your own organization about the facilities.

Effective July 1, 2017, the Maternity Benefit Amendment Act makes it mandatory for every establishment having fifty or more employees to provide for a crèche facility. Women employees are to be allowed four visits a day to the crèche.
