dial 100 and call police

You first issue a legal notice to the landlord about this and warn him of the legal consequences, if he fails to respond then you may approach court with a suit for permanent injunction against the landlord to restrain him from indulging in such illegal actiivities which causes you harm as well as loss

The landlord cannot take law into his hands. he ought to have followed the due process. His action amounts to trespass.

Why did you not ask your landlord why he locked the grill?

Lodge police complaint against your land lord .

Landlord does not have any right to make obstructions and interference in peaceful use and ejoyment of tenancy premises immediately lodge FIR against him also file sut for injunction ( mandatory and prohibitory ) and get restrained him.

Discuss and sort out your problem amicably without seeking any legal remedy.
