Need advice

I have been married for 9 years under Christian Law. I have 2 kids. My husband is working in a diffirent city and we live in a different city. Our Marriage is not yet registered. We have a registration given by the church. My husband wants to get a divorce and I do not. We have been living in two cities seperate for 4 yrs now, he visits us once a month. Can this be treated as living seperate in legal terms for a divorce? I am looking to protect my and my kids interest. We are financially dependent on him though I am earning. Can he force me in getting a divorce by cutting off funds given for household expenses?

church certificate is enough for the courts to treat your marriage valid one.

it is called separatation and on the ground of desertion, he cannot get divorce.

if he withholds funds in order to extricate divorce consent from you, you can move appropriatee application for getting maintenance for your children.  If there is huge income difference between his income and your income, you can also get maintenance.

do not worry.  he cannot get divorce.
